Ethics - Moral Theories 

Utilitarianism -
Comes from John Mill, who is an economist. The goal is to minimize harm and maximize benefits to one self and others. Interested in maximizing greatness happiness for greatest number.
However, a difficulty in practicing this was the uncertainty of predicting consequences and difficulties of weighing them.

Duty -
Introduced by Immanuel Kant, which deals around one's duty of doing no harm and to help and have justice.
Difficulty in practice is that, how do you rank duties based on if they contradict.

Virtue -
Introduced by Aristoteles. The ultimate goal for a living creature is happiness. By living a virtuous life you will gain happiness. Virtuous means showing high moral standards.

Religious -
Obey God.
Treat others as yourself.
Respect God's creatures.
